Amendment #312 to H4000

County Registers Technological Fund

Representatives Koczera of New Bedford and Cabral of New Bedford move to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

“SECTION XXX.  Section 41 of Chapter 36 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out the fourth and fifth sentences and inserting in place thereof the following 2 sentences:-

From March 15, 2003, until June 30 2021, all surcharges on fees collected pursuant to this section shall be forwarded to the County Registers Technological Fund established in section 2KKK of chapter 29. From July 1 2021, all  of the surcharges shall be forwarded to the General Fund as provided in section 2 of chapter 29.
