Amendment #335 to H4000

Franklin County Regional Kennel

Mr. Mark of Peru moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 8910-0288 the following item:

8910-0388. For the Franklin Sheriff’s Office, which may expend for the operation of the Franklin County Regional Kennel an amount not to exceed $30,000 from revenues received from participating Franklin County towns in the form of annual assessment and from animal adoption fees paid at the time of an animal’s adoption; provided, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system
