Amendment #425 to H4000

Family Resource Centers

Mr. Donato of Medford move to amend the bill by inserting the following new item:

"4000-0051 For the establishment and operation of family resource centers in counties throughout the commonwealth to provide community-based services to families, including families with children requiring assistance under section 16U of chapter 6A of the General Laws and to provide a mechanism to the juvenile court to refer families to community-based services under section 39E of chapter 119 of the General Laws; provided that no less than $1,000,000 shall be expended for a pilot program to provide services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to runaway children in a county in Massachusetts.”
