Amendment #442 to H4000

Regional Assessment

Representatives Donato of Medford, Kaufman of Lexington, Toomey of Cambridge, Chan of Quincy, Walsh of Framingham, Sannicandro of Ashland, Smizik of Brookline, McMurtry of Dedham, Linsky of Natick, Gordon of Bedford, Garlick of Needham, Hogan of Stow, Honan of Boston, Fernandes of Milford, Garballey of Arlington, Keenan of Salem, Matewsky of Everett, Brodeur of Melrose, Kafka of Stoughton, Roy of Franklin and Peisch of Wellesley moves to amend the bill by inserting the following new section:

Section x. The second paragraph of Section 29 of Chapter 40B of the General Laws is hereby amended by deleting the sentence "Such assessment shall not exceed a sum equivalent to fifteen cents per capita for the fiscal year nineteen hundred and seventy-five." and inserting in place the following sentence:-

"Notwithstanding any provisions of any general law to the contrary, such assessment shall not exceed a sum equivalent to fifty cents per capita for the fiscal year two thousand and fifteen."
