Amendment #714 to H4000

State Trauma Registry

Representatives deMacedo of Plymouth and Conroy of Wayland move to amend the bill in section 2 by striking out item 4510-0712 and inserting in place thereof the following item:

 

“4510-0712 For the department of public health, which may expend not more than $2,631,081 in revenues collected from the licensure of health facilities for program costs of the division of health care quality; provided, that the department may expend not more than $893,189 from revenues collected from individuals applying for emergency medical technician licensure and recertification; and provided further, that notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of retained revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system; and provided further, that no less than $150,000 shall be expended for the hiring of two position: one full time Data Registrar and one part-time Data Analyst in the Office of Emergency Medical Services........... $2,631,081.”.
