Amendment #845 to H4000

Relative to auditing state issued credit cards

Representatives O'Connell of Taunton, Cole of Peabody, Diehl of Whitman, Fattman of Sutton, Kuros of Uxbridge and Lombardo of Billerica move to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“SECTION XXXX: Not withstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the State Auditor shall conduct an audit of all credit cards, procurement cards, and travel cards issued by all state colleges and universities, and all credit cards, procurement cards, and travel cards issued by all state agencies and quasi-independent agencies to employees for the time period January 2013 to April 2014.  The completed audit shall be filed with the clerks of the senate and the house of representatives no later than December 30, 2014.”.
