Amendment #863 to H4000

Outpatient (PAPE) Reimbursement

Representatives Benson of Lunenburg, Hecht of Watertown, Toomey of Cambridge, Livingstone of Boston and Decker of Cambridge move to amend the bill in Section 2, in item 4000-0300, by inserting after the words “projected exhaustion of funding”; the following:

provided further, the executive office shall ensure that a hospital’s rate year 2015 outpatient payment amount per episode (so called PAPE) rate shall be no less than its FY2014 rate if the hospital has experienced more than a 20% reduction in its rate since FY2011.
