State Police Chargeback

Mr. Naughton of Clinton moves to amend the bill in section 2 by inserting after item 8000-0125 the following item:

“8100-0002- For the costs of overtime associated with requested police details; provided, that for the purpose of accommodating discrepancies between the receipt of revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate thereof as reported in the state accounting system Intragovernmental Service Fund ... …..$39,258,619.””
