Amendment #931 to H4000

Department of Public Safety Pipefitters Inspectors

Mr. Chan of Quincy moves to amend the bill by striking out line item 8315-1024  and inserting in place thereof the following new line item:-

"8315-1024 The department of public safety, which may expend not more than $600,000 of revenues collected from fees for the licensure of pipefitters; provided, that funds shall be expended solely for hiring additional engineering inspectors or engineers, pursuant to this item, in order to be compliant with sections 53 and 84 of chapter 146 of the General Laws ………………………………………………………………………….................................. $600,000"
