Amendment #941 to H4000

Early Education and Care Salary Rate Reserve

Representatives Chan of Quincy, Cariddi of North Adams, Cusack of Braintree, Ayers of Quincy, Sannicandro of Ashland, Koczera of New Bedford, Nangle of Lowell, DiZoglio of Methuen, Decker of Cambridge, Timilty of Milton, Lawn of Watertown, Coppinger of Boston, Peake of Provincetown, Conroy of Wayland, Murphy of Weymouth, Ferrante of Gloucester and Andrews of Orange moves that the bill be amended in section 2 by inserting the following new item:

“1599-xxxx  For a reserve to increase the Department of Early Education and Care reimbursement rates for subsidized early education and care, for salaries, benefits, and stipends for professional development of early education and care workers or programmatic quality improvements…………………22,600,000”
