Amendment #956 to H4000

Children's Advocacy Centers

Representatives Farley-Bouvier of Pittsfield, Pignatelli of Lenox, Mark of Peru, Cariddi of North Adams, Markey of Dartmouth, Schmid of Westport, Khan of Newton, D'Emilia of Bridgewater, Heroux of Attleboro, Ayers of Quincy and Cantwell of Marshfield move to amend the bill in section 2, in item 4510-0810, in line 3, by striking out the following: "provided, that funds shall be expended to support children’s advocacy centers;" and in said item by striking out the figures "3,554,426" and inserting in place thereof the figures "3,119,286"; and by inserting after item 4510-0810 the following new item:

"xxxx-xxxx For the statewide service delivery system offered through Children’s Advocacy Centers with funding administered by the Massachusetts Children's Alliance. . . . . $750,000”.
