Sheetmetal Board Stagering Appointments

Mr. Chan of Quincy moves to amend the bill by inserting at the end thereof the following new section:-

SECTION XX. Section 101 of chapter 13 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2010 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after paragraph (c) the following:

(d) Of the initial members appointed to the board who are required to hold either a journeyperson or master sheet metal license, 2 shall serve for a term of 3 years, 1 shall serve for a term of 4 years and 1 shall serve for a term of 5 years.  Thereafter, said members shall serve terms in accordance with paragraph (b).
