Amendment #1 to H4035

Floor amendment

Mr. Madden of Nantucket moves to amend the bill Mr. Madden of Nantucket moves to amend House No. 4035 by striking out sections 1 and 2 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

"SECTION 1.  Notwithstanding section 2 of chapter 169 of the acts of 1965 or any other general or special law to the contrary, the area included in the county and town of Nantucket is hereby constituted a mosquito control project under section 5A of chapter 252 of the General Laws, to the same extent as if so constituted by the state reclamation board acting under said section 5A, and the improvements herein authorized shall be undertaken under the identifying name of the Nantucket Mosquito Control Project."
