Cabral amendment

Mr. Cabral of New Bedford moves to amend the bill in section 1 by striking out the second and third paragraphs and inserting in place thereof the following 2 paragraphs:-

“The licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of the license to any other location or any other person, corporation or organization.  The license issued pursuant to this act shall be clearly marked “nontransferable” on the face of the license.

If the license granted under this section is cancelled, revoked or no longer in use at the location of original issuance, it shall be returned physically, with all of the legal rights, privileges and restrictions pertaining thereto, to the licensing authority.  Any license issued pursuant to this act which is returned to the licensing authority shall not be reissued.”.
