Amendment #30 to H4069

Tobacco Settlement

Mr. Fernandes of Milford moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:

“Section XX.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, all payments received by the commonwealth in fiscal year 2015 under the master settlement agreement in Commonwealth of Massachusetts v. Philip Morris, Inc. et al., Middlesex Superior Court, No. 95-7378, except for arbitration and litigation expenses up to $200,000, shall be deposited into the General Fund.”
