Risk and Vulnerability Assessment

Ms. Provost of Somerville moves to amend the bill by adding, at the end, the following section:

Section XX: The Authority shall conduct a risk and vulnerability assessment of the BCEC expansion project as defined in section 8, with a particular focus on sea level rise, storm surges, and surface and underground flooding, prior to or in connection with any site development, engineering, or design work, so as to mitigate to the extent feasible the predictable risks of loss, damage or incapacitation of the BCEC from weather or climate-related causes.
