Amendment #6 to H4111

Mr. Cabral of New Bedford moves to amend the bill moves to amend the bill in line 38 by inserting the following new paragraph:

0101-0102 The authority is authorized and directed to establish and operate a program for Gateway Municipalities, as defined in section 3A of chapter 23A of the Massachusetts General Laws, to finance and conduct feasibility and planning studies  for the purpose of integrating meeting and convention business in Boston with the economies and related resources of said gateway municipalities by providing, but not limited to, information, marketing and technical assistance to said municipalities; provided that, the authority shall solicit and help said municipalities develop grant applications and if selected execute application proposals…..$60,000,000.

And further to amend the bill in line 332 by striking the figures “1,110,000,000” and inserting in place thereof the following: “1,170,000,000”.
