Amendment #104 to H4138

Fowl Meadow

Representatives Galvin of Canton, Kafka of Stoughton, Timilty of Milton, Nyman of Hanover, Cronin of Easton, Ayers of Quincy and Rogers of Norwood moves to amend the bill by adding the following section:-

Section XX.  Notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the Fowl Meadow and Ponkapoag Bog, an Area of Critical Environmental Concern, as so designated on August 20, 1992 pursuant to the provisions of section 2(7) of chapter 21A of the general laws and any rivers, streams, brooks or any other  tributaries flowing thereto or therefrom, shall not be authorized or zoned for residential, commercial, or industrial use within 1000 feet of said areas, with the exception of existing public infrastructure uses on, adjacent to or in close proximity therewith.
