Arbitration and Mediation Retained Revenue

Mr. Coppinger of Boston moves to amend the bill Mr. Edward Coppinger moved that the bill be amended, in section , by striking out           and inserting in place thereof the following item:-

“For the department of labor relations, which may expend for the operation of the department an amount not to exceed $200,000 from fees collected under section 3B of chapter 7 of the General Laws and section 6 of chapter 150 of the General Laws; provided, that any fees collected in excess of $200,000 shall be deposited into the General Fund; and provided further, that for the purpose of accommodating timing discrepancies between the receipt of revenues and related expenditures, the department may incur expenses and the comptroller may certify for payment amounts not to exceed the lower of this authorization or the most recent revenue estimate as reported in the state accounting system.”
