Amendment #17 to H4165

Reporting of Employee Benefits

Mr. Coppinger of Boston moves to amend the bill by inserting the following new sections:-

“SECTION _____.    Chapter 151A of the General Laws is hereby amended by inserting after section 10 the following section:-

Section 10A.  For any development that is in excess of 500,000 or more, the developer and said vendors shall provide to the executive office of labor and workforce development a true attested copy, by re-paid certified mail or electronic filing, of all payments to Massachusetts Unemployment Insurance program for all employees at jobsites in compliance with the state’s Unemployment Insurance laws.”

SECTION  ______. Section 6 of chapter 152 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2013 Official Edition, is hereby amended by adding the following paragraph:-

For any development that is in excess of 500,000 or more, the developer and said vendors shall provide to the executive office of labor and workforce development a true attested copy, by re-paid certified mail or electronic filing, of all payments to the Massachusetts Workers' Compensation system for all employees at jobsites in compliance with the state’s Workers Compensation laws.”
