Amendment #37 to H4165

Halving Corporate Minimum Excise Tax

Representatives Jones of North Reading, Peterson of Grafton, Hill of Ipswich, Poirier of North Attleborough, deMacedo of Plymouth and Frost of Auburn moves to amend the bill by adding the following sections:-

“SECTION XX. Section 2 of chapter 63 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended, in lines 16 and 17, by striking the following: “four hundred and fifty-six” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- two hundred and twenty-eight

; and further, in line 27, by striking the following: “$456” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $228.

SECTION XX. Section 2B of said chapter 63 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended, in line 40, by striking the figure: “$456” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $228.

SECTION XX. Section 38B of said chapter 63 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended, in line 12, by striking the words: “four hundred and fifty-six” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- two hundred and twenty-eight

; and further, in line 25, by striking the words: “four hundred and fifty-six” and inserting in place thereof the following words:- two hundred and twenty-eight.

SECTION XX. Section 39 of said chapter 63 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended, in line 49, by striking the figure: “$456” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- $228.”.
