Amendment #1 to H4220

Harwich Charter Change

Ms. Peake of Provincetown moves to amend the bill by striking out section 1 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

“SECTION 1.  Chapter 3 of the charter of the town of Harwich, as appearing in section 1 of chapter 18 of the acts of 2006,  is hereby amended by striking out section 3-7-2 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

Section 3-7-2.  No member of the board of selectmen shall simultaneously hold any other appointive or elective town office, or any elected regional, county or state office.”
