Amendment #13 to H4254

Pipefitters Technical Change

Representatives Chan of Quincy, Keefe of Worcester, Scaccia of Boston, O'Day of West Boylston and Collins of Boston move to amend the bill in section 40 by inserting at the end thereof the following:- 

"provided, however, that gas fitting work shall not include the work conducted by a licensed pipefitter, oil burning technician, or refrigeration technician, as determined by the laws and regulations relating to those professions; and provided further, that nothing in this section shall be construed to supercede chapter 146."

move further to amend the by in section 41 by inserting at the end thereof the following:

"provided, however, that sheet metal work shall not include the work conducted by a licensed pipefitter, oil burning technician, or refrigeration technician as determined by the laws and regulations relating to those professions; and provided further, that nothing in this section shall be construed to supercede chapter 146."
