Corrective Amendment

Mr. Scibak of South Hadley moves to amend the bill by inserting after section 1B the following section:-

SECTION 1C.  Notwithstanding any general law or special law to the contrary, no applicant seeking to practice in a field where individuals are licensed under this chapter will be exempted from meeting the qualifications for licensure without providing satisfactory evidence to the board that such applicant meets the qualifications for licensure or their equivalent and receives the express written approval of the board of registration which grants the designated license.

Mr. Scibak moves to further amend the bill by inserting after the word “barbering”, in lines 219, 228, 236, 247, 252, 259, 290, 299, 302, 361, 394, and 398, the following word:- cosmetology, .

Mr. Scibak moves to further amend the bill by inserting after the word “barber”, in line 270, the following word:- cosmetologist, .

Mr. Scibak moves to further amend the bill striking out sections 31A to 31C, inclusive.
