Amendment #21 to H4278

Suicide prevention

Ms. Balser of Newton moves to amend the bill in Section 21 by inserting, in line 507, after the word “risk”, the following words:

“to themselves, others in their household, and/or”;

And by inserting, in line 509, after the word “risk”, the following words:

“to themselves, others in their household, and/or”

Ms. Balser moves to further amend the bill in Section 33 by inserting, in line 749, after the word “risk”, the following words:

“to themselves, others in their household, and/or”;

And by inserting, in line 751, after the word “risk”, the following words:

“to themselves, others in their household, and/or”;

Ms. Balser moves to further amend the bill in Section 54 by inserting, in line 989, after the words “criminal act”, the following words:

“suicide, suicide attempt, or accidental shooting”;

And by striking, in line 1001, the period after the words “prohibited person” and inserting in place thereof the following:  “; and (xi) whether a fatality or injury occurred.”

And by inserting, in line 1004, after the word “crimes”, the following words:

“suicides, suicide attempts, or accidental shootings”

And by inserting, in line 1006, after the word “weapons”, the following words “, including all of the categories of data contained in this section,”
