Amendment #3 to H4504

W&M Technical Amendment

Mr. Dempsey of Haverhill moves to amend the bill by striking out section 27 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

SECTION 27. Section 5 of chapter 624 of the acts of 1986, as amended by chapter 165 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended by striking out the words “and use of Turtle Lane, a private way, and the use of a private driveway shall be restricted to emergency access, except that a temporary easement through Turtle Lane shall be authorized for rehabilitation of Elm Bank.”

And further moves to amend the H4504 in section 2, in item 1599-0026 by striking “$200,000” and replacing with “$600,000”

And further moves to amend the bill in section 40, in line 53, by inserting after the word “Boylston;” the following:- provided further, that not less than $400,000 shall be expended for an infrastructure improvement project in the town of Hatfield;

And further moves to amend the bill in section 69 by inserting after clause (69) the following clause:-

(70) between the Essex County Sheriffs and the National Corrections Employees Union, Local 121;

And further moves to amend the bill by inserting after section 5 the following 2 sections:-

SECTION 5A. Section 22 of chapter 13 of the General Laws, as appearing in section 2 of chapter 159 of the acts of 2014, is hereby amended by striking out, in lines 13, 19, 25, 28, 31 and 35, the words “at least”.

SECTION 5B. Subsection (i) of said section 22 of said chapter 13, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- The registered pharmacist as defined in subsection (g) shall not constitute an appointment of an independent pharmacist, chain pharmacist, hospital pharmacist, long-term care pharmacist, or academic pharmacist as defined in subsections (c), (d), (e), (f), and (h) for the purposes of this paragraph.

And moves to further amend the bill by inserting after section 22 the following section:-

SECTION 22A. Subsection (c) of section 39F of chapter 112 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by striking out the word “pharmacies” and inserting in place thereof the following word:- entities.

And moves to further amend the bill by inserting the following sections:-

SECTION X. Item 7000-9091 of chapter 237 of the act of 2014 is hereby amended by inserting after the word Mendon the following:- provided further that $250,000 shall be expended for improvements to the roof of the Shelbourne Library;
