Ensuring the safety of people with pets in disasters

[Sponsors] recommends that the bill be amended by striking out, in line 3, the figure “1570b” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- 5170b; and by adding the following section:-

“SECTION 3. An emergency plan of operations shall be consistent with sections 1 and 2 not later than 12 months after the effective date of this act.”
