An Amendment Relative to Self Decleration

Mr. Lyons of Andover moves to amend the bill by striking out section 8 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

SECTION 8. The first paragraph of section 22 of said chapter 18, as so appearing, is hereby amended by adding the following sentence:- Self declaration of residency shall not be accepted as a valid form of residency verification for people seeking taxpayer-funded individual benefits from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
