Amendment #32 to S1806

An amendment excluding scholarships from income and asset limits

Representatives Provost of Somerville and Andrews of Orange moves to amend the bill in Section 25, after the phrase “the Acts of 2013,” replace the period with a semi-colon, and add the phrase: “provided, however, that the department shall exclude from the assistance or filing units’ countable income or assets the amount of any scholarship pursuant to Section 25 of this Act or to item 7070-0066 of Chapter 38 of the Acts of 2013, either to the recipient of to the depend children who are a part of the filing or assistance unit."
