Amendment #46 to S1806

Conveyance of Intent of Citizenship by DTA to Clerk of Judicial Court to Facilitate Naturalization

Representatives Diehl of Whitman and O'Connell of Taunton moves to amend the bill by striking the number "3" in line 146 and replacing it with the following:-

"4";

and by adding the following to Section 10:-

"Section 34. The department shall assist applicants or recipients in transmitting to a clerk of the trial court the execution of declarations of intention in naturalization proceedings to assist in naturalizing aliens resident within their respective judicial districts pursuant to section 15 of chapter 220.  Such transmittal shall be received by the clerk of the court in such judicial district."
