Minority Party Designee

Mr. Ross move to amend the bill in section 28, by striking out the words “1 member of the senate appointed by the minority leader of the senate, who shall be a member of the joint committee on children, families and persons with disabilities, the joint committee on labor and workforce development or the joint committee on housing;” and inserting in place thereof the following:-

1 member shall be the ranking minority member of the senate on the joint committee on children, families and persons with disabilities, the joint committee on labor and workforce development or the joint committee on housing, or their designee;

And by striking out the words: “1 member of the house of representatives appointed by the minority leader of the house of representatives, who shall be a member of the joint committee on children, families and persons with disabilities, the joint committee on labor and workforce development or the joint committee on housing;” and inserting in place thereof the following:-

1 member shall be the ranking minority member of the house of representatives on the joint committee on children, families and persons with disabilities, the joint committee on labor and workforce development or the joint committee on housing, or their designee;

And Mr. Ross moves to amend the bill, in section 30, by striking out the words “1 of whom shall be appointed by the minority leader of the house of representatives” and inserting in place thereof the following words:-

1 of whom shall be the ranking minority member of the house of representatives on the joint committee on veterans and federal affairs or the joint committee on economic development and emerging technologies, or their designee;

And by striking out the words “1 of whom shall be appointed by the minority leader of the senate” and inserting in place there of the following words:-

1 of whom shall be the ranking minority member of the senate on the joint committee on veterans and federal affairs or the joint committee on economic development and emerging technologies, or their designee;
