Income Tax Deduction for Military Pensions Earned as a Retired National Guard Member

Mr. Naughton of Clinton moves to amend the bill by adding the following section at the end thereof:-

SECTION XX.  Subparagraph (E) of paragraph (2) of subsection (a) of section 2 of chapter 62 of the General Laws, as so appearing, is hereby amended by inserting, after the words "10 U.S.C. section 1072", in line 6, the following words:- and to include members of the National Guard who receive retirement pay under the provisions of 10 U.S.C. chapter 1223
