An Amendment to Require Public Housing Verification to Match Federal Requirement to Insure Veteran Preference

Mr. Diehl moves to amend the bill by adding the following Section:-

Section XX: notwithstanding any general or special law to the contrary, the executive office of housing and economic development shall require all recipients or any person seeking housing or assistance in any form, including vouchers, to provide a valid social security number and the housing agency is required to verify the number.
