Voting in Political Primaries

Mr. Kennedy moves to amend the amendment by striking out section 10 and inserting in place thereof the following section:-

“SECTION 10. Section 38 of chapter 53 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by inserting after the word “primary”, in line 19, the following words:- ; provided further, that a voter registered in a political designation shall be considered unenrolled and shall be eligible to receive a ballot of a political party of the voter’s choosing.”
