Amendment #33 to S2021

Mattapoisett River Valley Water District

Mr. Straus of Mattapoisett moves to amend the bill by inserting at the end of Section 19 the following sentence:

The Mattapoisett River Valley Water District, as established pursuant to Chapter 367 of the Acts of 2004, shall be an eligible public entity for financial assistance as provided pursuant to this section and section 6 of this bill; provided further, that nothing in this bill shall be deemed to limit the present statutory powers and authority provided to said District.
