Compliance with Global Warming Solutions Act

Mr. Eldridge, Ms. Creem, Messrs. DiDomenico, Wolf, Donnelly and Pacheco and Ms. Jehlen move to amend the amendment by inserting in SECTION 3, in line 128 after the word “customers” the following words:- “provided that the department of public utilities determines these programs are consistent with environmental and public health policies of the commonwealth, including the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2008.”

; and by further inserting in said section, in line 140, after the word “approval” the following words:- “the department’s review shall include a full analysis of the greenhouse gas emissions impacts of proposed expansion, including an accounting of life cycle fugitive emissions.”
