reporting system for drug overdoses

Mr. Fennell of Lynn moves to amend the bill by adding the following new section:-

Section x.  Section 12A of Chapter 112 of the Massachusetts General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 official edition, is hereby amended by inserting at the end thereof the following:-  In cases of physician examination or treatment of a person with injuries resulting from opiate, illegal, or illicit drug overdose, a hospital, community health center, or clinic shall report such de-identified, aggregate information in such a manner as to be determined by the department of public health.
