Public Safety Communications

Mr. Downing moves to amend the bill in line 8000-3501 by inserting at the end thereof the following:- “provided, further, that $1,000,000 shall be expended for the purchase and installation of portable and mobile radios and in-vehicle repeaters capable of transmitting and receiving on the commonwealth’s P-25 public safety radio network; provided, however, that all said radios shall be issued to public safety officers delivering services in the towns of Chester, Chesterfield, Cummington, Goshen, Hatfield, Huntington, Montgomery, Pelham, Plainfield, Russell, Westhampton, Williamsburg and Worthington”
