Ensuring Procurement Accountability

Messrs. Joyce, Montigny and Eldridge move to amend the amendment in subsection (d) of section 6  by adding the following words:- "; provided, however, that if the Authority elects to use procurement methods inconsistent with said section 39M of said chapter 30, sections 44A to 44M, inclusive, of chapter 149 or said chapter 149A, the Authority shall consult with the inspector general on such procurement methods and upon consultation the inspector general shall be provided at least 30 days to provide written comments before the Authority begins the procurement of services for the project pursuant to such alternative measures."
