Salem State University’s North Shore Economic Development Study

Ms. Lovely and Mr. Tarr move to amend the amendment in section 2A, in item 7002-1510, by adding at the end thereof the following: “provided further, that $300,000 shall be expended for a grant to Salem State University Enterprise Center to develop a strategy for regional economic development and conduct a feasibility study to construct a North Shore Convention, Business, and Visitor Center to be conducted by the Center of Economic Development and Sustainability at Salem State University. The Center shall submit their final report to the House and Senate Ways & Means Committees and the Joint Committee on Economic Development and Emerging Technologies no later than January 1, 2016;”

 

and in said item, by striking out the figures “$1,500,000”and inserting in place thereof the figures “$1,800,000”.
