Reimbursement Funding Report

Mr. Donnelly moves to amend the bill by inserting after section 56 the following section:-

SECTION 56A.  The house and senate committees on ways and means shall provide an annual report to the board of elementary and secondary education on projected charter school reimbursement funding.  The report shall contain an estimate of the funding amount that the house and senate committees on ways and means expect to appropriate for charter school reimbursement in each of the next 5 fiscal years.  The board of elementary and secondary education shall consult this report before voting on any new charter school applications.
