Certification requirements for all public school teachers

Mr. Donnelly moves to amend the bill by inserting after section XX the following section:

SECTION XX. Section 89 of chapter 71 of the General Laws, as appearing in the 2012 Official Edition, is hereby amended by striking out subsection (ii) and inserting in place thereof the following subsection:-

(ii) No teacher shall be hired by a commonwealth charter school who is not certified pursuant to section 38G.
