Capital Assistance Team Advisory Board

Mr. Keenan moves to amend the amendment in section 7, by striking out paragraph (e) in lines 144 to 151, and inserting in place thereof the following:-

“(e) Each capital assistance team shall have an advisory board, which shall consist of 11 members. The host housing authority shall appoint 1 of its own board members to the advisory board; the department shall appoint 1 member, who shall have at least five years of experience as the manager of no less than 200 units of privately owned housing; the department shall promulgate regulations establishing election procedures for the selection of the remaining 9 members. The department shall limit eligibility for election to members of participating housing authorities in the region. The advisory board shall meet on a quarterly basis with the capital assistance team director, host housing authority director and the director of the department or a designee of the director of the department, and shall discuss issues of program performance and coordination.”
