Residential Care Facilities (Rest Homes)

Ms. Jehlen and Messrs. Knapik and Brownsberger and Ms. Chang-Diaz and Mr. Joyce moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4405-2000, by inserting after the words "foster care benefit" the following: "provided further, that not less than $1,000,000 shall be made available to ensure that rates for residential care facilities (rest homes) are increased from those in effect on January 1, 2013. And further moves that the bill be amended, in item 4408-1000, by adding the following: "Provided further that not less than $400,000 shall be appropriated to ensure that rates for residential care facilities (rest homes) are increased from those in effect on January 1, 2013. "
