Ensuring Mental Health Parity

Mr. Joyce moved that the proposed new text be amended by inserting, after section __, the following new section:-

“SECTION __. There shall be a private right of action for a violation of sections 3, 7, 10, 13, and 14 of chapter 256 of the acts of 2008.  The recovery for such actions shall include, but shall not be limited to, treble damages, court costs, and attorneys’ fees.”
