Terrorist Acts and Public Assistance

Mr. Knapik moved that the amendment be amended by inserting after the words “chapter 266,” the following words:-

“or one or more crimes in which the elements consist of the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives, or convicted of conspiracy to commit and of said crimes,” and

further by adding to the first paragraph the following sentence:-

“The attorney general shall have cause to recover said assistance or benefits from said person or the estate of said person. “
