Early Literacy Programming

Mr. Joyce moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 7061-9408, moved that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 7061-9408, by inserting the following:- “; provided further, that $500,000 shall be expended for an innovative pilot program in the town of Milton to address the early literacy proficiency gap and to increase access to early education”.
