Outpatient (PAPE) Reimbursement

Mr. Brownsberger, Ms. Jehlen, Messrs. Joyce, Barrett, DiDomenico and Rush moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4000-0300, moved that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 4000-0300, move to amend the bill in Section 2, in line 4000-0300, by adding at the end thereof the following:-

“provided further, the executive office shall ensure that a hospital’s rate year 2015 outpatient payment amount per episode (so called PAPE) rate shall be no less than its FY2014 rate if the hospital has experienced more than a 20% reduction in its rate since FY2011”
