DCF INCREASE IN FAIR HEARING OFFICERS

Mr. Barrett, Ms. Creem, Mr. Brownsberger and Ms. Jehlen moved that the proposed new text be amended in section 2, in item 4800-0015, moved that the bill be amended in section 2, in item 4800-0015, by adding at the end thereof the following:- “provided that $200,000 be expended for the purpose of hiring additional staff and associated operating costs of the same in the department’s fair hearing system”; and in said item, by striking out the figure “$74,637,692” and inserting in place thereof the following figure:- “$74,837,692”.
