Amendment 1

An Act authorizing the Commissioner of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance to convey certain land containing the Salem Superior Courthouse and County Commissioners Building to the Salem Redevelopment Authority

The committee on Ways and Means recommends that the bill be amended in section 1, by adding the following sentence:-  “For the purposes of this act, “convey” shall mean a sale or lease of the parcel.”; and

in section 2, by striking out, in lines 11 and 12, the word “sale” and inserting in place thereof, in each instance, the following word:-  conveyance”.
